Project Success

I was once asked during an interview what I thought was the secret to successful projects.

Over the decades I've had the privilege to work with some amazing colleagues.

No matter what methodology or technique they use, great project leaders all do following:

  • They facilitate great communication
  • They use this to establish and then maintain a shared understanding of the project.
  • They create an environment of controlled execution.
  • This generates an atmosphere of trust between all stakeholders.
  • This atmosphere of trust allows the project to adapt to the uncertainties of its surroundings...
  • ...enabling the project to weather any storm,

leading to project success!
